Ozzy Osbourne is on the mend. 2019 has not been kind to the Prince of Darkness, who recently described it as one of the most “fucked up years” of his life. Hit with a slew of health issues — a stint with pneumonia, breaking his neck in January, and having blood clots — the Ozzman was even forced to postpone his farewell world tour. But you can’t keep Ozzy down for along, and today, September 6th, that immortal voice has popped up once again — and in a most unlikely place.

Face-tattooed pop star Post Malone dropped his star-studded new album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, and among the many cameos —SZA, Halsey, Meek Mill, Young Thug, Future, and others — Ozzy makes a show-stealing guest appearance. The metal legend wails on the song “Take What You Want,” which also features Travis Scott, and it’s a full-fledged power ballad complete with squealing guitar solo. As unlikely as Osbourne’s contribution might seem on the surface, it actually makes a lot of sense: Post Malone is actually a diehard metalhead who played in a metalcore band as a kid, sports a Dimebag Darrell tattoo and has been spotted rocking out at Gatecreeper shows, covering Coheed and Cambria and hanging out with Arch Enemy’s Alissa White-Gluz. Check out “Take What You Want” below, and see the full track listing for Hollywood’s Bleeding.
