In addition to his standing role as the Prince of Fucking Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne has a burgeoning career as a voice actor, having contributed his talents to such animated films and TV shows as Bubble Guppies, Fish Hooks and Gnomeo and Juliet. His latest animated foray is Trolls World Tour, the forthcoming sequel to 2016’s Trolls movie, which looks to be waaaay more metal than the original.

Indeed, the immediately recognizable riff to Ozzy’s classic “Crazy Train,” as well as the Scorpions’ hit “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” both look large in the just released Trolls World Tour trailer. In the film, Troll Town’s Queen Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) discover that there are other Troll worlds beyond their own, each defined by a different genre of music: pop, funk, classical, techno, country and rock. Though his character isn’t revealed in the teaser, Ozzy plays Thrash, ruler of the rock trolls and father to Queen Barb, who does appear in the trailer and steals the show. Popping out of the earth in a burst of red light, she riffs on “Crazy Train” on a demon-skull guitar while menacing Queen Poppy, even apparently sprouting another hand in order to shred harder and faster. In a later scene, she divulges her plan to destroy all the musical genres — except for rock, of course.

In addition to Ozzy, Kendrick and Timberlake, Trolls World Tour also stars James Corden, Sam Rockwell, Chance the Rapper and Anthony Ramos. The movie is set to open on April 17, 2020. Check out the fun trailer below.
